Erick Deroost, painter and artist, lives and works in Rennes. Now abstract painter (abstraction allows me to get to the main point, he says), his work reflects the world of sensible and wrote a moving work crossing the certainty that the painter is now in his place, making full use of his art. Material and color prevail over pattern. The reds are in charge of upheaval and anger, but also energy and life. Black conversely written anarchy and sobriety. Their union on each canvas generating a sense of balance and serenity.
